I like a challenge, especially when it comes to sewing. Years ago I bought a pattern for soft-sided suitcases and made one. As I remember, it was a minor success. Very minor. So now I have decided to make a project that is a bit larger than a suitcase.
Reputable tent sellers put a price on a 12' x 12' medieval pavilion at $1500 and up. At present, I am not rolling in the dough so purchasing one is out of the question. My answer is to make one. Simple, right? All it is is triangles and rectangles. Very big triangles and rectangles.
Follow along with me on my adventure as I design and construct a canvas medieval pavilion for La Maison d'Armoise.
